This exciting and informative tour starts at  9:00 am when we jump in the Creatures of the Night 4WD and Travel to Devils@Cradle familiarisation with Tasmanian devils.  There we join the crew of Devils@Cradle for a journey behind the scenes at the States only Specific Tasmanian Devil research and viewing facillity

This privately funded, all weather facility has the only private research program for the species.

Learn about the natural history of Tasmanian devils. Reproductive research conducted at the sanctuary, as well as social interaction and feeding behaviour whilst watching the devils.
Conservation through education is an important theme at Devils@Cradle so you will also learn about the historical persecution of devils and the impacts of disease  currently affecting wild devils. After our VIP tour we have morning tea.

Next we travel to "Tasmania's Savanna" - Narawntapu National Park
Narawntapu is one of the best places in the state to view wildlife and yet unaffected by Devil Facial Tumour Disease.  He we take a leisurely stroll through the coastal area viewing footprints left by devils using the beach as a highway.  We find feeding sites, dens and scats of our favourite Tasmanian carnivore all the while playing detective and using Chris' knowledge  to piece together the daily habits of this allusive marsupial carnivore.

"Chris uses an amazing array of technology including laptop computers, cameras, DVD's and presentations as well as his encyclopedia like knowledge to allow anyone to obtain a complete understanding of the Tasmanian devil...A truly unforgettable experience"

"Chris even looks like a Tasmanian devil!"
