Join Chris Coupland B.S.c (Hon) Wildlife Biologist, star of Animal Planets “Super Scavengers, Growing up – Marsupial Mums and Devils Diary” as he presents two iconic Tasmanians, the Platypus and Tasmanian devil. As the sun sets see wild Platypus in the Mersey River. This waterway has one of the highest populations of this species in Australia. Have the opportunity to observe natural behaviour and learn about this amazing Monotreme whilst enjoying fine Tasmanian cuisine.
Then Journey into the night for a four wheel drive nocturnal adventure to see the mysterious Tasmanian devil in the Eucalypt forests of the Great Western Tiers.
