Chris Coupland B.S.c (Hon) is a professional zoologist born and educated in Tasmania. He is a passionate wildlife photographer and film maker based at Sheffield, near Cradle Mountain and other World Heritage Areas.
Chris through his photos and films strives for the conservation of all Tasmanian species through education and awareness.
Chris is particularly involved in the research and conservation of Tasmanian devils, currently affected by the debilitating Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD), Chris has worked professionally with devils for the last 8 years.

Chris Coupland has appeared in a number of popular Animal Planet Documentaries. Best known for his roles in NHNZ productions "SUPER SCAVENGERS", "Growing Up - Marsupial Moms" and The Paul Scott Films Production "Devil Diary". These productions hit the screens in the United States, Europe and Australia.
Chris has also been seen on Channel Sevens "Today Tonight", "Totally Wild", "Sunday Sunrise" and a score of other programs talking about his favourite subject Devils and Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD)
